Celtic Linen Ltd, a leading Irish textile rental group, has resolved the problem of lost production in summer by installing Breezair evaporative cooling at its laundry in Carlow.
Following a site survey by a Breezair engineer, it was decided that six coolers placed on the roof of the laundry with the vents strategically located throughout the processing plant would provide spot cooling and substantially reduce the overall temperature. Breezair has also provided the staff with a cooling breeze, which makes for a more comfortable working environment.
"The units are working well and we are definitely feeling the benefit, says John Keating, Director of Celtic Linen Ltd. "We have replaced two of the standard four way heads with octagonal units and are currently considering installing two additional octagonal distribution head units and fitting them to the system.”
Seeley International has become the only evaporative air cooler manufacturer in the world to pass the stringent VDI (Verein Deutscher Ingenieure) and achieve VDI Standard 6022 compliance.
